The City of Boulder and Boulder County are close to finalizing mountain bike access up historic Chapman Road accessed from behind the Red Lion Inn 3.5 miles up Boulder Canyon. The road was originally built by the CCC to access Flagstaff Mountain. This new route will offer a dirt route for part of the way up to Walker Ranch. A biking link is also being worked on between Walker Ranch and Eldorado Canyon.
